Hello!

My name is Błażej, and I’m here to present coffee roasting and quality control in a simple, practical, and logical way.

I believe—just like you—that consistent coffee production quality is the key to your brand’s success. To ensure that, during our cooperation I will carry out a comprehensive assessment of your production needs, we will design a precise action plan and the required standardisation tailored to your requirements, implement a system for evaluating coffee quality and consistency, and finally — I will professionally train your team, developing their skills to the highest industry level.

I also believe that evaluating green coffee, creating flavour descriptions, and assessing roasted coffee quality can be less complicated than it seems. It’s true that these processes require extensive knowledge and expert experience, but they are not inherently complex nor reserved only for people with natural predispositions.

Let me reassure you — this isn’t quantum physics. Sensory analysis, which is used for this purpose, is also for ordinary people, and it can be simple, practical, and logical.

Let’s do it together — simply.

Hello!

Co-owner of Kafar Coffee Roastery in Gliwice since 2015

Polish Barista Championship judge in the years 2010–2019

Beginnings

My entire professional life has been connected with coffee. It all began in 2004, when I started my first job as a barista at the coffee shop of the Tchibo roastery.

Between 2008 and 2010, I gained experience as a shift supervisor and internal barista trainer in the “I Coffee” café chain owned by RUCH S.A.

For the next three years, I developed my skills as a customer consultant and trainer at Strauss Cafe — the producer of MK Cafe coffee. My responsibilities included learning how to build long-term cooperation with clients.

From 2013, I worked for one of the first specialty coffee roasteries in Poland — Coffee Proficiency, where I continuously collaborated with, trained, and consulted café staff and owners, further developing experience in long-term cooperation based on competence and trust.

Founding of Coffee Support

Since 2015, I have been running my own training and consulting company, Coffee Support, and since 2020 I have been co-creating the high-quality coffee roastery Kafar Palarnia Kawy together with two partners.

My experience includes over 15 years of delivering training and consultancy for professionals in the HoReCa sector, the food industry, distributors of coffee equipment, and water filtration systems. It also includes sales and relationship-building in the HoReCa and retail sectors, as well as hands-on experience in coffee production and quality control.

Between 2010 and 2019, as a national and international judge and coach at prestigious Polish and international championships under the auspices of World Coffee Events, I had the opportunity to get to know the coffee industry across Europe and beyond.

Today

On a daily basis, through Coffee Support, I conduct industry consultations and trainings within the Coffee Skills Program of the Specialty Coffee Association. I build long-term relationships with companies from the food and hospitality sectors, coffee roasteries, distributors of coffee-production equipment, and cafés. I provide consulting for newly established coffee roasteries in the areas of green and roasted coffee, tea, equipment, water filtration systems, and direct-sales advisory. At Kafar Coffee Roastery, I manage the product sales team and support quality management.
